DJI has officially launched the Matrice 5T, a lightweight industrial drone priced at ¥57 488. This model is the first in its category to feature a standard LiDAR, millimeter-wave radar, and a full-color omnidirectional visual perception system.

The drone is equipped with a 1K thermal imaging camera and a multi-focal length visible light camera. It offers an IP55 protection rating and a maximum flight time of 59 minutes. The onboard AI can identify over 20 target types, and users can import third-party models to support various tasks like emergency rescue and power line inspection.

The device features a rapid deployment time of approximately 10 seconds. It supports real-time data transmission, allowing for the generation of point clouds or 2.5D models on the remote controller. Processing 200 photos takes about 8 minutes. The drone operates in temperatures ranging from -20 to 50 degrees Celsius.

The Matrice 5T utilizes a new image transmission system with dual 4G modules. It supports relay modes where one or two drones act as signal repeaters, extending the transmission range up to 40 kilometers. The propulsion system provides 98% more single-axis thrust compared to the Matrice 4T.

The camera array includes wide-angle, medium-telephoto, and telephoto lenses with 11x optical zoom. The wide-angle camera captures full-color images in low-light conditions as dim as 0.01 lux. The drone also includes silent propellers designed to keep noise levels at 80 dB(A).
