Detsky Mir has established a new position of Director of Artificial Intelligence Implementation. Pavel Latvenas, who previously managed AI solutions at Yandex, has been appointed to this role.
The new director will focus on optimizing business processes, personalizing customer experience, and integrating large language models and computer vision technologies. Latvenas will also lead the development of an internal AI community for knowledge sharing within the company.
The initial phase involves auditing internal processes to identify areas where AI can improve efficiency and reduce costs. The company aims to shift employees away from routine tasks toward creative and expert roles.
Latvenas brings over seven years of experience in IT and automation. During his two-year tenure at Yandex, he worked on UGC moderation, marketplace operations, and game testing. Prior to that, he spent four years at the Ural Bank for Reconstruction and Development, where he automated processes in mortgage, deposit, and back-office operations.
