The Denza Z9S electric sedan, developed by BYD's premium brand, is scheduled for an official market launch on September 23. Pre-sales for the vehicle commenced on August 3, with three available variants priced between ¥319 800 and ¥389 800.
The model features a 102.3-kWh second-generation Blade Battery, offering ranges of 780, 920, or 1 100 kilometers depending on the configuration. The top-tier version is marketed as the mass-produced battery electric vehicle with the longest range globally.
Performance specifications include a single-motor version with 370 kW output and a three-motor all-wheel-drive system producing 890 kW. The latter accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 2.68 seconds. The car supports flash charging, reaching 97% capacity in 9 minutes.
Built on the e3 technology platform, the Z9S includes rear-wheel steering, the DiSus-A air body control system, and the God's Eye 5.0 driver assistance system with LiDAR. The vehicle measures 5 090 mm in length and features a 3 025 mm wheelbase.
The sedan competes in the mid-to-high-end market against models such as the Xiaomi SU7 and Xpeng P7. It offers connectivity with major smartphone brands and provides a 120-liter front trunk alongside a 470-liter rear cargo space.
