The Delta 2.0 emulator update introduces support for the Apple iPhone Duo, including optimizations for both portrait and landscape modes. The app now leverages the foldable device's hardware, allowing users to trigger sleep mode for emulated Nintendo DS games by closing the device. The interface has been redesigned to align with Apple’s Liquid Glass design language, ensuring compatibility across various screen sizes.
New features include support for Sega Genesis titles, accompanied by controller skins modeled after the original hardware. The update also adds a DLC system for classic Pokémon games on the Game Boy Advance, developed by the ROM hacking community. Additionally, the emulator now supports Epilogue’s GB/SN Operator gadgets, enabling users to play physical Nintendo cartridges on their iOS devices.
The release brings experimental Custom Filters that allow users to apply visual overlays to their games, such as CRT-style effects. The application library has been updated with new sections for favorites and recent titles, alongside support for animated controller skins. Developers have also implemented global support for in-app purchases through a new patronage system.
Delta 2.0 marks the official launch of the emulator on the EU App Store. The application remains available via the AltStore PAL marketplace in supported regions. These updates aim to enhance the user experience across the entire Apple ecosystem, including iPads and various iPhone models.
