The new 8BitDo Arcade Controller Pro features a layout similar to previous models but introduces smaller buttons and tighter spacing to improve input speed. The device is equipped with a tempered glass faceplate and includes 17 primary buttons, along with additional shortcut controls located on the top edge.

A key feature of the controller is its built-in display, which runs 8BitDo's Ultimate Software directly on the MCU. This allows users to remap the five P1-P5 buttons on the fly. The package also includes a magnetic wrist-rest that features lock caps to prevent accidental inputs during gameplay.

The controller is available in two color options: white and a black-and-red combination. The device includes a quick-release faceplate that stores a keycap and switch removal tool, as well as three spare switches for maintenance purposes.

Pre-orders for the Arcade Controller Pro are currently open on Amazon at a price of $119.99. The official product launch and the start of shipping for pre-ordered units are scheduled for November 30, 2026.
