San Francisco-based startup Daytona has secured $60 million in a Series B funding round, reaching a valuation of $1 billion. The company, which provides infrastructure for autonomous AI agents, has now raised a total of $91 million.

The investment round was led by FirstMark. Participants included Qualcomm Ventures, Samsung Next, Okta Ventures, and individual investors such as Patrick Collison of Stripe, Tobi Lütke of Shopify, and Aravind Srinivas of Perplexity.

Daytona provides isolated virtual environments known as sandboxes for AI agents. These environments allow agents to execute code and perform tasks across Linux, Windows, and macOS without accessing sensitive company systems.

The company reported a 25-fold increase in revenue run rate between January and September. According to CEO Ivan Burazin, the business has maintained an average monthly growth rate of 50.9%.

Current clients include OpenAI, Anthropic, NVIDIA, Meta, Cursor, and Cohere. The platform is used by companies like Snorkel, which has provisioned over one million sandboxes, and Trajectory, which reduced environment startup times from 30 minutes to seconds.

Daytona plans to utilize the new capital to expand its computing infrastructure and grow its workforce across offices in San Francisco, Croatia, and Singapore.
