A client commissioned a custom version of the Kubb Fanless mini PC crafted from 24-carat gold. The device is priced at approximately $1.7 million and weighs nearly 29 pounds. The manufacturer claims the gold chassis provides 30% to 50% faster thermal conductivity compared to standard aluminum models.

Despite the high-end material, the internal specifications remain modest. The standard Kubb Fanless line typically features an Intel Core Ultra 5 225H processor and is usually available in graphite, blue, or bronze finishes. Standard aluminum versions are listed at €1,595, though they are currently out of stock.

The gold-cased unit is significantly heavier than the standard aluminum version, which weighs considerably less. Previous iterations of the Kubb Mini series, equipped with Intel Twin Lake chips, were priced around $500. The new gold model represents a significant departure from the typical pricing and design of the company's compact computing range.
