Global oil prices have trended downward as logistics through the Strait of Hormuz show signs of recovery. Brent crude is currently trading at approximately $103.50 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate is priced near $99.79.
The stabilization in energy flows follows initiatives to expand export capacity in Saudi Arabia and a rise in tanker activity. These logistical improvements have mitigated some supply-related anxieties, although the conflict involving Iran continues to drive market volatility.
Market participants are now tracking whether the current flow levels through the Strait of Hormuz can be maintained. Future price trends remain dependent on actions from OPEC and the Saudi energy ministry, as well as broader geopolitical developments in the Middle East.
Analysts are also looking toward the end of the year, with a 14% probability assigned to the possibility of crude oil reaching a new all-time high by December 31.
