Cisco Systems Inc. has consolidated its product portfolio into a single AI platform, positioning Webex as the primary interface for users and agents. President Jeetu Patel announced that brands such as Meraki and Catalyst will eventually be phased out in favor of a unified platform strategy. The company now manages its offerings through Cisco Cloud Control, Cisco Data Fabric, and Silicon One.

Data from OpenRouter indicates that agent token consumption is currently five times higher than human consumption, having surpassed it in February. Cisco reports that agents require 450% more network bandwidth than humans for similar tasks, and 60% of global compute is now dedicated to inference. Consequently, Cisco is requiring its managers to establish specific token budgets.

Cisco is integrating third-party AI, including Anthropic’s Claude Managed Agents and OpenAI’s personal agents, into the Webex ecosystem. The company also announced a partnership with Google to allow Cisco devices to run Google Meet natively. Additionally, Cisco introduced the Dialog agentic harness to maintain context across communication channels.

The company reported that its campus and branch business has grown by over 20% in the last two quarters. Cisco’s stock price has increased by more than 50% year-to-date and over 70% since the WebexOne 2025 event. Patel projects that the percentage of power users utilizing agents will rise from less than 2% today to 30–40% within 12 to 15 months.
