Circle's USDC Treasury has issued 250 million USDC tokens on the Solana blockchain. This transaction, confirmed by Solscan data and tracked by Whale Alert, occurred between October 27 and 28, 2026.

The recent issuance follows a series of identical mints throughout October. Similar batches of 250 million USDC were generated on the Solana network on October 2, 6, 16, and 23, establishing a recurring pattern of activity.

The tokens were created via the official USDC Treasury contract, which serves as the authorized gateway for minting and redeeming the stablecoin. These mints are designed to manage capacity and meet potential network demand.

Market analysts note that a mint does not immediately increase the circulating supply, as tokens may be held in reserve. USDC continues to maintain its peg, trading at approximately $1, and remains the second-largest stablecoin by market capitalization.

The concentration of these mints exclusively on the Solana blockchain suggests a focus on liquidity for decentralized finance applications. Observers are monitoring the movement of these reserves to gauge actual on-chain dollar demand.
