Circle Internet Group, the issuer of the USDC stablecoin, announced the departure of two senior executives on September 25, 2026. Chief Financial Officer Jeremy Fox-Geen will step down by the end of December 2026, while co-founder and board director P. Sean Neville has resigned from the board.

Fox-Geen joined the company in May 2021. During his tenure, he managed the firm's financial operations through the 2022–2023 crypto winter and led the company to a $1.2 billion IPO on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker CRCL.

The outgoing CFO will remain in his position until December 31, 2026, or until a successor is appointed. The company has hired an executive search firm to find a replacement. His separation agreement includes a conditional cash payment of $1.05 million.

Fox-Geen's annual base salary was $500,000, with a 2026 incentive bonus capped at 110% of that base. Following the departure of P. Sean Neville, who cited personal reasons, the size of the Circle board of directors has decreased from eight to seven members.
