The Chinese company CIQTEK has launched mass production of the TEM-F200 transmission electron microscope. The device features an information resolution of 0.1 nm and a point resolution of 0.25 nm, operating at an accelerating voltage of 200 kV. It is designed for analyzing semiconductor structures, identifying microscopic chip defects, and examining advanced materials.

CIQTEK reports that it independently developed the core components of the TEM-F200, including high-voltage systems, electron-optical parts, and proprietary control and analysis software. This release marks a shift for the Chinese high-performance microscope industry from the research and development phase to full-scale commercial supply.

The introduction of the TEM-F200 follows previous developments in the sector, including a 120 kV commercial microscope in 2024 and a 200 kV prototype in 2025. By producing this equipment domestically, China aims to reduce its reliance on foreign suppliers for high-precision laboratory tools used in materials science, biomedicine, and energy research.
