In the first half of 2026, the Russian public sector procurement market for network switches reached nearly 5.7 ₽ billion, covering approximately 1,800 contracts. This figure represents a significant increase compared to the 4.1 ₽ billion recorded in the same period of 2025 and 3.6 ₽ billion in 2024.

Chinese vendors captured 49% of the market share during this period. Specifically, lesser-known Chinese brands accounted for 23% of the total, while TP-Link held a 15% share. The shift is attributed to the need for maintaining and expanding existing network infrastructures previously built on Chinese hardware.

The broader market for all network equipment in the public sector saw over 3,400 contracts totaling 16.43 ₽ billion in the first half of 2026. This represents a 2.2-fold increase compared to the first half of 2024. Meanwhile, the total market for switches, including corporate and industrial segments, is estimated at 27 ₽–30 billion.

Domestic manufacturers, including Eltex, Qtech, B4COM, Aquarius, Bulat, Yadro, and Electra, face challenges in the high-performance segment. While some industry experts estimate the Russian share in the public sector at 30%, domestic products remain largely concentrated in entry-level segments.
