The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has released an action plan for the integration of AI and software. The initiative aims to achieve a comprehensive intelligent upgrade of key software by 2030, fostering new growth areas in smart programming, intelligent agent software, and digital services.
By 2028, the plan targets significant improvements in the sector, covering 20,000 large-scale software enterprises. The government intends to implement 100 technical transformation projects, establish 100 benchmark applications for intelligent agent software in key industries, and incubate at least 5 open-source projects.
The strategy focuses on six areas, including software production transformation and product upgrades. Key measures involve using large models for vulnerability detection, integrating AI with industrial software like CAD, CAE, and EDA, and encouraging collaboration between software firms and manufacturers of smartphones, smart home devices, and connected vehicles.
The initiative also promotes the development of general-purpose intelligent agent software for office collaboration and information processing. Furthermore, it encourages companies to optimize human-machine collaboration by implementing job restructuring and providing specialized skills training for employees.
