The Chinese Internet Basic Corpus 4.0 was officially released on September 15 at the Artificial Intelligence Security Governance Forum in Jinan. The dataset contains 120GB of data and is now available through the Chinese Internet Corpus Resource Platform.
To access the data, users must register and complete an authentication process on the official website of the Cyber Security Association of China. The platform provides options for downloading or requesting the materials directly.
The project was developed under the guidance of the Cyberspace Administration of China. The Cyber Security Association of China and the National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team collaborated with companies including Baidu, iFlytek, and Zhihu to compile and process the data.
This release follows the previous versions 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0. The association plans to continue working with industry partners to expand the supply of high-quality Chinese language data to support the development of artificial intelligence models.
