China has introduced 11 new professions and 23 new job types. The list includes roles such as embodied AI robot application technicians, digital twin engineering technicians, sports data analysts, and microgrid administrators.
Digital professions make up 45% of the new roles, while green professions account for 27%. The new job types range from sustainable development planners and agent developers to new energy vehicle inspectors and smart furniture installers.
Since 2019, China has released eight batches of new professions, totaling 121 roles. There has been a significant expansion in the fields of artificial intelligence, wind power, and hydrogen energy.
