The tool utilizes the currently open document as context for its operations. Users can leverage the plugin to generate initial drafts, summarize existing text, rewrite specific sections, proofread content, and adjust document formatting or headings.
Additionally, OpenAI has launched a limited-time promotion for business and enterprise clients. From September 17 to September 30, these users can access the GPT-5.6 Sol model within Word without counting the usage against their standard limits.
