Changan Auto has joined other major Chinese automakers, including BYD, Chery, Seres, Geely Holding, Great Wall Motor, and GAC Group, in responding to the new guidelines. All these companies have pledged to strengthen their international operations to align with the same regulatory framework.
The guidelines were issued by the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the State Administration for Market Regulation. The document focuses on overseas marketing, safety production, quality management, labor protection, and data security.
