Canary Capital has launched the Canary Staked TRX ETF, which trades under the ticker TRXS on the Cboe BZX Exchange. The fund began trading on September 9, 2026, and is marketed as the first US-listed exchange-traded product that provides direct exposure to the TRON native token while simultaneously generating staking rewards.

The fund holds TRX assets directly rather than relying on derivatives. Under standard operating conditions, the ETF aims to stake approximately 90% of its eligible holdings. Staking rewards are not distributed as separate payouts but are instead reinvested into the fund’s net asset value, which increases the value of individual shares over time.

The product carries an annual sponsor fee of 1.10%. Additionally, fees on staking rewards are capped at 20%, allowing the fund to retain 80% of the income generated from the network. This structure is designed to provide institutional investors with a regulated path to access TRX through standard brokerage accounts.

At the time of the fund's launch, the market capitalization of TRX was approximately $32.1 billion. The TRON network currently supports over $94 billion in circulating USDT. Prior to this ETF, TRX became available on the CFTC-regulated Bitnomial exchange in June 2026.
