Developer Luckey Faraday has successfully integrated the 'Hijacked' map from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 into Minecraft. Unlike previous attempts that displayed the game on a virtual screen within the sandbox, this version runs natively within the Minecraft OpenGL context.

The project utilizes the Fabric modding API to inject game assets directly into the engine. According to the developer, all core components including collision detection, navigation meshes, weapons, and rendering are executed as Fabric mods.

The ported map currently achieves a frame rate of approximately 45 FPS. The developer utilized GPT Astra to rewrite the codebase in Java, transitioning from an initial browser-based port to a native implementation.

Faraday, who leads an AI developer community, noted that the project remains in development. Future plans include expanding the mod to support additional maps, weapon sets, and multiplayer functionality.
