ByteDance announced that starting November 18, 2026, all TRAE accounts will automatically transition to Doubao Feishu accounts. This change follows the October 9 merger of TraeWork and TraeCode into a unified development platform.
The new account structure allows users to access various services, including the Doubao app, Feishu, PICO, Volcengine, and the Doubao input method. Users can manage their profiles, including avatars and nicknames, through their existing Doubao settings.
For users with matching phone numbers, the transition will be seamless. If phone numbers differ or a Doubao account does not exist, the system will create a new account based on the TRAE phone number. Users can merge accounts by updating their phone number settings within the TRAE platform.
