BYD has unveiled the interior design sketches for the second-generation Seagull model. According to Zhang Zhuo, general manager of the Ocean Network sales division, the vehicle features a redesigned cabin with physical controls relocated below the air vents and a central area configured for wireless charging or additional storage.

The exterior of the new Seagull has also been updated with a fresh design language, including a new front fascia with trident-style lighting units. The vehicle profile now features an upward-sloping waistline and a floating roof design to create a more dynamic, forward-leaning stance.

In terms of dimensions, the second-generation model measures 4205 mm in length, 1810 mm in width, and 1570 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2650 mm. These figures represent an increase of 425 mm in length and 150 mm in wheelbase compared to the previous generation.

The vehicle is powered by a pure electric drivetrain featuring a TZ164XYB permanent magnet synchronous motor produced by Zhengzhou BYD Auto Co., Ltd. The motor delivers a maximum power output of 95 kW. The car will be equipped with lithium iron phosphate batteries manufactured by FinDreams.
