BYD reported a steady increase in market share and monthly sales growth, attributing this success to the launch of its new vehicle lineup, specifically the flash-charging series. The company focuses on electrification and intelligent technologies to drive product demand.

The flash-charging system is a comprehensive energy replenishment solution rather than just increased power. It integrates second-generation blade batteries with charging piles capable of up to 1500kW. This setup allows a vehicle to charge from 10% to 70% in 5 minutes and to 97% in 9 minutes.

As part of its 'Flash Charge China' strategy, BYD reached a milestone of 10,000 charging stations as of August 28. These stations are spread across 332 cities. The company aims to expand its domestic network to 20,000 stations by the end of 2026.

The current network includes 4,228 community-requested stations. BYD has achieved full coverage in first and second-tier cities, with an average distance of 3 kilometers between stations in major hubs like Shenzhen and Shanghai. In third and fourth-tier cities, the average distance is within 4 kilometers.
