BYD is technically capable of extending the range of its Denza premium electric vehicles to 1200–1300 km. General Manager Li Hui stated that the company will consider implementing this increase if customer demand justifies it, noting that the current 1100 km range is not the platform's limit.

The Denza Z9S model launched on September 23 with a starting price of ¥255 800. The flagship all-electric version, which supports fast charging and offers a range of 1100 km under the CLTC cycle, is priced at ¥275 800.

BYD is transitioning its vehicle lineup to second-generation Blade batteries. These units feature higher energy density and capacity, allowing for a 97% charge in just 9 minutes. The manufacturer is currently scaling up monthly production of these batteries to meet rising order volumes.
