Proprietary trading firm Breakout has expanded its asset offerings by introducing gold trading, effective October 29, 2026. Traders can access the new market under the ticker GOLD with leverage of up to 5x.
The firm set a maximum position size for gold at $500 000, which is the highest limit among its commodity offerings, surpassing caps for silver and Brent crude.
Alongside the launch, Breakout reduced trading fees for all real-world asset (RWA) markets by 50%. Commissions per order decreased from 0.04% to 0.02%, also effective from October 29, 2026.
The RWA lineup at Breakout includes natural gas, copper, and Brent crude, alongside traditional indices like the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100. All assets are available for trading on a 24/7 basis.
Breakout operates as a prop firm where traders manage the company's capital after passing an evaluation. Successful participants can access up to $200 000 in funding and retain 80% to 90% of profits.
The company previously raised $4.5 million in a seed funding round in July 2024. To date, Breakout reports having paid out more than $80 million to its traders.
