Chainlink has introduced a new service called Chainlink 24/7, designed to provide continuous price data for tokenized stocks, commodities, and traditional assets during weekends and holidays. The service functions by aggregating data from regular trading hours, extended sessions, and quotes from perpetual futures markets on crypto-native exchanges.

Decentralized lending protocol Aave has been named the launch partner for this service. Aave intends to integrate the Chainlink 24/7 Data Feeds into its institutional lending platform, Horizon. The primary goal is to ensure continuous valuation of tokenized real-world asset collateral, specifically focusing on high-volume US equities.

This new offering builds upon Chainlink’s existing 24/5 US Equities Streams, which were launched in 2026. Since January 2026, this infrastructure has supported pricing for over $1.6 billion in tokenized assets across six different blockchain networks.

The integration aims to solve the issue of price freezes for tokenized stocks during non-trading hours, which complicates risk management for lending protocols. By providing a continuous feed, the service assists in setting loan terms and managing liquidation risks without weekend gaps.

Chainlink currently works with several major industry participants on tokenized stock pricing, including Ondo, xStocks, Robinhood, and Coinbase. The service utilizes Chainlink’s established Data Feeds and Data Streams products to deliver this information to smart contracts.
