Bose has released the Noise Cancelling Wired Earbuds, priced at $99. The device connects via USB-C, which powers the active noise cancellation (ANC) feature without requiring an external battery or charging.

The earbuds support high-res audio at 24-bit/48kHz and feature an in-line remote with three buttons for volume, playback, and ANC mode selection. They come with three sizes of ear tips and two sets of wings.

The product carries an IPX4 rating for water resistance. While the ANC effectively blocks low-frequency sounds, it struggles with human speech and wind noise. The microphone is located on the in-line remote.

Unlike wireless models, these earbuds do not require pairing or app-based configuration. However, the 4.2-foot cable is prone to snagging, and physical contact with the cord can cause audible noise.
