Block, Inc. launched its first major consumer campaign for Bitcoin on October 1, 2026. The initiative targets approximately 60 million Americans identified by the company as Bitcoin-curious, positioning the asset as a practical medium of exchange rather than a speculative investment.
The marketing message emphasizes Bitcoin's capped supply and the absence of intermediaries. This effort follows a November 2025 policy campaign, Bitcoin is Everyday Money, which lobbied for a de minimis tax exemption to simplify reporting for small transactions.
The company's ecosystem currently integrates three primary products: Cash App for transactions, Square for merchant acceptance, and Bitkey for self-custody. Square began deploying its Bitcoin payment infrastructure to millions of sellers on November 10, 2025.
To drive adoption, Cash App provides 5% Bitcoin rewards and automated conversion features. As of early 2026, Block held 8,883 BTC in its corporate treasury, reflecting its commitment to the infrastructure it has developed for its users and merchants.
