Bittensor’s ecosystem has reached an estimated annualized recurring revenue of $70 million as of November 4, 2026. This figure represents a 40% increase compared to the previous month, when revenue stood at approximately $50 million. Growth has been rapid, with the network baseline rising from $32–35 million in late August and early September 2026.

The network operates through specialized subnets focused on AI tasks and services. Growth is primarily driven by compute and inference subnets, which account for 78–82% of verified revenue. Leading subnets include Lium (SN51), Targon (SN4), and Engy (SN53), with additional contributions from Bitcast, Almanac, Score, and Vanta.

Several subnets are utilizing external income to fund buybacks of their native alpha tokens. According to SubConnect, the number of subnets conducting these buybacks has increased since the initial launch of its Revenue Index. Despite this growth, external revenue currently covers only 9–23% of total token emissions, indicating a continued reliance on network rewards.

SubConnect estimates are based on off-chain payment records rather than audited on-chain data. Based on current trends, the platform projects that revenue will exceed $100 million by the end of 2026. Analysts note that the high concentration of revenue within compute subnets presents a potential risk if market pricing for GPU capacity and inference services becomes more competitive.
