Bitfinex transferred 222.7 million USDT to the Tether Treasury, according to data from Whale Alert. This transaction is part of a series of internal movements between the two affiliated companies, which share a common parent organization.
Throughout October, the volume of transfers between the entities remained high. On October 28, four separate transactions totaling 765.3 million USDT occurred within a three-hour window, including individual moves of 281.8 million USDT and 124.3 million USDT.
Earlier in the month, around October 20-21, another transfer of 100.98 million USDT was recorded. In total, approximately 1 billion USDT has moved between the affiliates during October through these various internal adjustments.
Analysts classify these flows as routine treasury management within the iFinex group rather than market-driven redemptions or new token issuances. These internal operations have not impacted the USDT dollar peg, market liquidity, or investor sentiment.
