Biren Technology reported revenue of $183.9 million for the first half of 2026, marking a 1,998% increase compared to $8.665 million in the same period of 2025. Despite a gross profit of $78.552 million and a 42.7% margin, the company recorded a net loss of $56.2 million due to ongoing investments in AI accelerators, software, and rack-scale solutions.

The company's total revenue for the full year 2025 reached $154.17 million, with a market share for AI accelerators in China remaining below 3%. While Nvidia supplied approximately 2.2 million AI accelerators to the Chinese market in the first half of 2025, Biren's shipments for the entire year were in the range of thousands to tens of thousands of units.

Biren has developed several high-end AI GPUs, including the BR106, BR110, and BR166, and is currently developing the BR20X, BR30X, and BR31X series. The company also maintains its own Birensupa software stack to compete with Nvidia CUDA. Future growth depends on securing manufacturing capacity from suppliers like SMIC to compete with domestic rivals such as Huawei, Kunlunxin, and Cambricon.

The company's financial results are influenced by U.S. export controls and China's restrictions on American AI hardware, which have limited the presence of Nvidia and AMD in the region. Although Biren is expanding, its current production volume remains small compared to the scale of international suppliers that operated in the market prior to the implementation of export restrictions in May 2025.
