Binance has introduced Auto Order Routing (AOR), a feature designed to optimize trade execution on its Spot platform. Unveiled on October 12, 2026, the tool automatically compares the order book of a direct trading pair with a path through a more liquid intermediary, such as BTC/USDT, selecting the option that provides a better price.

The system operates in the background, allowing users to execute trades without manually managing two-step transactions. Binance states that AOR avoids double fees, charging only a single standard Spot trading commission based on the user's VIP tier and potential BNB discounts. No additional commission is applied to the intermediary conversion.

The rollout begins with U-quoted symbols, including USD and USDC, with other currencies to follow pending regulatory approval. Users can enable or disable the feature via the Trading Mode menu. The tool is primarily aimed at improving efficiency in lower-volume markets and pairs with limited liquidity.

While the feature simplifies the routing process, Binance notes that standard market spreads still apply to both legs of the transaction. As of now, there are no independent data or quantified figures regarding the specific market impact or the extent of fill improvements provided by the new routing mechanism.
