Beijing Off-Road has officially unveiled its new boxy SUV, the Xingtan 5X. The vehicle measures 5 meters in length and features a design described by the manufacturer as combining rigidity and softness.

The SUV is equipped with Huawei's Qiankun intelligent driving system. Due to the absence of a roof-mounted lidar, the vehicle is expected to utilize the Huawei Qiankun ADS 5 Pro solution, which relies on the Limera in-cabin laser vision system.

Huawei recently updated its ADS Pro V5.0 software, introducing new capabilities such as parking lot navigation assistance (NCA) and a three-point turn feature for tight spaces. Additionally, the reverse tracking (RA) function now supports distances up to 120 meters.
