Beeline has officially launched 5G network services in Russia, aiming to increase data transmission speeds by up to 30% on compatible devices within the coverage area. The operator has already deployed the technology across several cities and plans to continue expanding its reach.

The rollout follows extensive preparations, including network core modernization and pilot tests conducted in May 2026 across 21 regions. This infrastructure upgrade allows the company to utilize existing equipment and available frequency bands for 5G operations while optimizing resource allocation based on real-time network traffic.

Beyond consumer services, Beeline is targeting the corporate sector, specifically mining, metallurgy, oil and gas, transport, and logistics. The company emphasizes that 5G provides the low latency and high capacity required for industrial AI applications, showcasing private network solutions in collaboration with YADRO at CIPR-2026.

The new standard complements existing infrastructure improvements, such as VoLTE and VoWiFi technologies. According to CEO Sergey Anokhin, the company remains focused on continuous network testing and development to support emerging technologies like smart home systems and neural networks.
