Bedrock Robotics has secured $600 million in a Series C funding round, bringing the company's valuation to $4.1 billion. The startup, founded in 2024, has raised nearly $1 billion in total capital to date.

The funding round was co-led by CapitalG and Emergence Capital. New investors included US Innovative Technology Fund, Bessemer Venture Partners, and Temasek, while existing backers such as 8VC, Georgian, Valor Equity Partners, Xora, Eclipse, Perry Creek Capital, and Nvidia also participated.

The company produces an autonomous-driving kit designed for retrofitting onto construction vehicles. These excavators are currently deployed at a water treatment facility in Nevada, a Texas earthwork site managed by Champion Site Prep, and a 1.2 million-cubic-yard project with Zachry Construction Corporation.

Bedrock recently partnered with the Arizona-based contractor Haydon to deploy its technology across various projects, including data centers and healthcare facilities. The startup aims to address labor shortages in the construction industry, noting that over 40% of workers are expected to retire within five years.

To support commercial scaling, the company appointed Amy Jones Satrom as vice president of operations and Lando Juarez as general counsel. The new capital will be used to expand teams, infrastructure, and the deployment of autonomous systems at additional construction sites.
