The developer BearPass, part of the Indeed Group, has launched a mobile application for Android and iOS. This tool allows employees to access corporate credentials and secrets directly from their smartphones, maintaining centralized control over data storage and user permissions.
The application includes features such as viewing corporate and personal vaults, managing folders, and searching for records. It also supports the generation of secure passwords and one-time TOTP codes, while enabling system-wide autofill for logins and passwords in browsers and other apps.
Security for the mobile vault is managed via PIN codes or biometric authentication, including fingerprint and facial recognition. Users can connect to the corporate system using QR codes or Single Sign-On (SSO) technology, depending on the server version and device OS.
The mobile version integrates with the existing BearPass server infrastructure, which can be deployed on-premises or in the cloud. Administrative tasks, such as configuring access rights and revoking permissions, remain centralized and are performed through the web interface.
