The Bazzite 45 release introduces a rebase to Fedora 45, alongside updates to Gnome 51.1 and KDE Plasma 6.8.2. The update includes OGC Linux kernels version 7.2.15 for AMD and Intel hardware, while NVIDIA users receive kernel 6.18.60. Additionally, the Mesa driver has been updated to version 26.2.6.
Hardware compatibility has expanded to include the Acer Predator Atlas 8 and ASUS ROG Xbox Ally X20, as well as support for peripherals like the Logitech TrueForce racing wheel. The developers have updated InputPlumber and moved CoolerController to an official docker container, while removing XWaylandVideoBridge to improve system stability.
A significant addition is the integration of a Linux EAC V2 readiness checker. Bazzite is now recognized by Epic Games as a signing key provider. The new tool monitors system configurations, including Secure Boot, TPM 2.0, and kernel signing, notifying users if their current BIOS or kernel settings fail to meet the requirements for Linux EAC V2.
