Aviation Capital Group has finalized an agreement to purchase 75 Airbus A320neo family aircraft. This deal marks the largest single order in the company's nearly 40-year history, reflecting its strategic focus on expanding its fleet and supporting airline capacity requirements.

Following this acquisition, the company's total order backlog for the A320neo family has reached 115 units. As of June 30, 2026, the lessor already maintained an operational fleet of 118 aircraft from this specific Airbus line. The partnership between the two entities dates back to 2007.

According to data from Airbus, the A320neo family offers a 20% reduction in fuel consumption and carbon emissions per seat compared to previous generations. While the specific engine configurations remain undisclosed, the deal underscores the ongoing demand for fuel-efficient aviation assets.

Although the financial terms of the contract were not officially disclosed, Tokyo Century, the parent company of ACG, estimated the catalog value of the order at approximately $11.8 billion. Industry standards suggest that the final transaction price likely includes significant discounts.
