The new Audi S5 Avant has officially launched in the Chinese market. The sports wagon is built on the PPC platform and features a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine, designated as the EA839 evo. This powertrain delivers 367 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque, supported by a 48-volt mild-hybrid system and a variable geometry turbocharger.
The vehicle is equipped with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. At launch, Audi is offering a limited First Edition variant, restricted to a production run of only 99 units. The price for this special edition is set at ¥571 800.
Inside, the cabin features a driver-centric layout with a curved OLED display panel integrating both the digital instrument cluster and the infotainment system. Additional equipment includes a panoramic roof with nine independently controlled sections, as well as a Bang and Olufsen audio system that incorporates speakers directly into the headrests.
