On October 27, the Audi Innovation Technology Center (AITC) held its first employee meeting. General Manager Matthias Pfister and Deputy General Manager Shan Yunwei outlined the center's mission and organizational structure, focusing on the development of next-generation vehicle models.

The primary objective for AITC is to develop four new AUDI-branded vehicles based on the ADP 2.0 platform. The first model, a large six-seater SUV, is scheduled for release in 2028. The development process aims to integrate AI and intelligent features into the vehicle architecture while maintaining Audi's engineering standards.

AITC consists of six departments covering the entire vehicle lifecycle, including technical project management, vehicle engineering, intelligent driving, and smart cockpit development. These teams are responsible for defining, developing, and validating new products.

This initiative follows Audi's recent announcement regarding a dual-partner strategy in China. FAW-Volkswagen will continue to focus on the traditional Audi brand, while SAIC Audi will concentrate on the AUDI brand and the new energy vehicle market to meet local consumer demands.
