The Apple M6 chip has appeared in the Geekbench database, revealing performance metrics for its 12-core GPU. In the Metal benchmark, the processor achieved a score of 92,000 points. This result demonstrates an approximate 20.2% performance increase compared to the 10-core GPU found in the M5 chip, which scored around 76,530 points.

The M6 chip also recorded CPU benchmark results in the same database. Its 12-core configuration reached 4,071 points in single-core tests and 22,783 points in multi-core tests. These multi-core figures place the M6 on par with the performance levels of the M3 Max processor.

Geekbench also conducted an OpenCL test for the M6, where the chip scored approximately 58,000 points. This result is comparable to the performance of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q, a graphics card released eight years ago. However, the relevance of this data is limited as macOS has discontinued support for the OpenCL API.
