Apple announced that the App Store now features over 100,000 applications optimized for the iPhone Duo. The company reports that thousands of new optimized apps are added to the platform daily.

The latest wave of updates includes Microsoft Word, Outlook, Zoom, and various sports and productivity tools. These join existing apps like Netflix and Instagram, which were optimized at launch.

To support developers, Apple hosted over 50 in-person workshops across 19 cities, attended by more than 2,000 developers. These sessions provided direct access to the device for testing.

The iPhone Duo, which starts at $1,999 for the 256GB model, experienced high demand and sold out within hours. Current shipping times for the device have extended into the next year.

Apple stated during its recent earnings call that it is difficult to predict when supply constraints for the iPhone Duo will improve.
