Apple has released a specific tvOS 27.2 update for the fourth-generation Apple TV 4K, identified by build number 24K154. This version is distinct from the 24K122 build released for existing devices last week, indicating that new units will ship with updated software.
The official release date for the fourth-generation Apple TV 4K is set for November 13. While Apple has not issued a formal changelog for this specific build, developer @itspdfu confirmed that the update enables Siri AI functionality for the new hardware.
The Siri settings interface for the new model includes a description highlighting enhanced capabilities. The system leverages personal context and general knowledge to assist users in discovering content and retrieving information through voice queries.
