Apple is reportedly developing its own AI-powered glasses, aiming to avoid the privacy-related reputation challenges currently faced by Meta. During a recent interview, Apple CEO John Ternus addressed concerns regarding public backlash against smart eyewear, often labeled as intrusive devices.

When asked about the negative reception of such technology, Apple's Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, Greg Joswiak, jokingly referred to the term 'creepy glasses' as a great marketing slogan. The executives emphasized that Apple is focused on user privacy as it integrates new AI features.

The company is preparing to introduce two new AI-driven auditory functions for the next generation of the Apple Watch. Ternus stated that Apple intends to implement these features in a way that ensures both the users and those around them feel comfortable with the technology.
