Estonian startup bilt.me has secured $700,000 in a pre-seed funding round. The investment was led by Superhero Capital, with participation from Bolt founder Markus Villig and Lightyear founder Martin Sokk. The company, established in August 2025 by Uku Joost Annus, Kevin Akkermann, and Karl Kiilaspää, plans to use these funds to support global expansion and improve its AI-driven app-building technology.
The platform utilizes an AI agent to assist users in creating native iOS and Android applications. Unlike web-based builders, bilt.me focuses on native mobile development. To support this, the team developed its own infrastructure, including Bilt Payments, Bilt Cloud, and Bilt Link, as they identified a lack of suitable existing tools for their specific requirements.
Currently, bilt.me has reached six figures in annual recurring revenue, with a growth rate that has doubled month-over-month for three consecutive months. Thousands of users are leveraging the platform to build applications, with 75 per cent of these being consumer-facing apps and 25 per cent serving as private or in-house tools. Many of these applications are already live on the App Store and Google Play.
