Anthropic has finalized infrastructure contracts totaling $517 billion to be executed over the next decade. These agreements cover cloud services, chip procurement, and data center capacity, with the majority of deals signed since October 2025. The company increased its computing capacity by at least 14.8 gigawatts, significantly expanding from its previous base of 1 to 2 gigawatts.
Amazon and Google lead the partnerships with a combined $300 billion commitment for 11 gigawatts of capacity. Microsoft Azure secured a $30 billion contract for 1 gigawatt, while SpaceX entered an agreement valued at approximately $45 billion. Additionally, Lambda and nScale signed contracts worth $80 billion for 460 megawatts over six years, and Fluidstack committed $50 billion for data centers.
The energy requirements for these infrastructure projects are estimated to be equivalent to the output of more than ten advanced nuclear reactors. Anthropic currently reports an annualized revenue run rate of approximately $65 billion. The company is preparing for a potential public offering, positioning itself alongside competitor OpenAI, which aims for $750 billion in investments and 30 gigawatts of capacity by 2030.
The surge in demand for high-performance hardware is expected to benefit suppliers such as Samsung and SK hynix. These long-term infrastructure commitments effectively guarantee a decade of revenue for major cloud providers like Amazon, Google, and Microsoft. Anthropic continues to scale its operations to secure necessary computing power ahead of its anticipated IPO.
