Anthropic has introduced Claude for Financial Advisors, a tool designed to integrate with existing custodian, portfolio management, CRM, and planning platforms. The system assists professionals with meeting preparation, portfolio analysis, and compliance monitoring while maintaining human oversight for critical tasks.
The platform includes a compliance feature that reviews client communications for potential issues and supports documentation requirements under Securities and Exchange Commission regulations. Anthropic states that automating administrative duties allows advisers to focus on client services, including tax, estate, and insurance planning.
In May, Anthropic launched 10 AI agents aimed at automating time-consuming financial tasks such as conducting know-your-customer checks and creating pitchbooks. These developments follow a broader industry trend toward AI-driven automation in financial services.
Competitors are also expanding in this sector. OpenAI recently announced ChatGPT for Financial Services, which focuses on investment banking and equity research. Additionally, startups like Rogo and Hebbia utilize models from Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google to generate financial models and memos.
