Anthropic has introduced two new productivity tools, Docs and Slides, which allow users to generate and edit documents and presentations directly within Claude chats. These files can be exported, shared, and edited by multiple collaborators in real time, with support for comment threads similar to those found in Google Docs.
The company is also consolidating its interface into a single experience called 'one Claude.' This update merges standard chats with the Cowork feature, integrating Artifacts and Claude Design capabilities into every conversation. The system is designed to automatically determine the necessary tools and skills for a given task based on the user's context.
All content created through these tools will be accessible via a single shareable link compatible with mobile devices. This update aims to reduce the need for users to switch between Claude and external productivity platforms, positioning the service as a more direct competitor to Google’s integrated Gemini suite.
The 'one Claude' update is currently rolling out to Pro and Max subscribers on web, desktop, and mobile platforms. Anthropic expects the rollout to take place over the next few weeks, with availability for Team and Free users scheduled to follow at a later date.
