Anthropic has announced a major capital expenditure plan, committing $518 billion toward cloud infrastructure and data centers. This investment is scheduled to be deployed over the next ten years as the company aims to secure long-term computing resources.
A significant portion of this commitment, exceeding $100 billion, is already allocated to Amazon Web Services. As part of this strategic partnership, Amazon provides Anthropic with access to its proprietary Trainium and Graviton hardware capacity.
The initiative is designed to strengthen Anthropic's competitive standing in the artificial intelligence market. The company currently maintains a position among the most valuable private firms in the sector, alongside competitors such as OpenAI and SpaceX.
