Animoca Brands and Franklin Templeton have entered a strategic partnership to broaden institutional access to tokenized real-world assets via the NUVA marketplace. The collaboration aims to expand the range of available assets beyond the Provenance Blockchain, which reported a total value locked exceeding $30 billion as of late September 2026.
Franklin Templeton, an investment firm managing approximately $1.8 trillion in assets, joins the project to help bridge traditional finance and decentralized finance. As part of the agreement, the companies will co-author a four-part research series exploring the convergence of these financial sectors.
Launched on the Ethereum Mainnet on May 13, 2026, NUVA is a non-custodial platform that utilizes the ERC-20 token standard for its vault products. This architecture allows for integration with other DeFi applications, enabling users to maintain control over their assets without intermediaries.
Current offerings on the platform include Figure Technologies’ YLDS, an SEC-registered yield-bearing stablecoin, and home equity lines of credit. While the partnership seeks to diversify the asset lineup, the companies have not yet disclosed specific timelines or new asset additions.
